Sharon LaMothe has been in the Infertility Field since 1998 when she signed her first Surrogacy contract. She subsequently gave birth to twin girls and in 2000 was invited to join a Florida legal firm recruiting & managing surrogacy arrangements. After leaving the legal arena in 2003, she co-owned & operated Surrogacy Consultants of Florida, LLC, the first successful independent surrogacy agency in Florida. In January 2005 Sharon became a Gestational Carrier and gave birth to girl/boy twins for a same sex New York couple using Donor Eggs. The doors of SCF officially closed after the last surrogate gave birth to healthy twins in Jan. 2009.

Sharon participates on many boards including Fertility Winthin Reach, Fertile Action, OBGYN.net, The Pregnancy Corner, A Family of My Own, as well as being a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. Sharon is also the Owner of LaMothe Services, LLC, an Assisted Reproductive Technology business solutions service & LaMothe Surrogacy Consulting aimed at teaching Intended Parents & Surrogates about surrogacy and their options, risks & rewards, writes 3 blogs plus owns Infertility Answers, LLC, an educational & informational website for those researching Third Party Family Options & Pregnancy issues.

Sharon has the pleasure of educating Intended Parents through support group appearances and speaking to professional organizations and businesses such as RESOLVE, ASRM, American Fertility Association, SMART ART, START ART, Fertile Dreams, American Association of Tissue Banks, Microsoft, and has published articles in the AFA yearly directory as well as other industry publications and magazines.

Sharon is married, a mother of two and currently resides in Seattle, WA.
