A tribute to Neil Peart

As we get older more things are taken away from us and this week a lot of us lost a big piece of our youth when drummer / lyricist Neil Peart passed away from Brain cancer. From the first time I heard Tom Sawyer I was hooked on this Canadian Trio of musicians who's musicianship and lyrics, to me, are unrivaled anywhere. The backbone of thjis band might have been their drummer (Peart) who's amazing abilities behind the kit might be only surpassed by his lyrics. Not one to take the easy way out and write about women and sex and the usual stuff songs are made up of, Pearts lyrics came from a place most of us couldnt possibly understand. We hope that you will all tune in This coming Thursday january 16th starting at 630 pm est for a little tribute to this giant of a person and musician.
