Hard Hits 6-24-20: A Dan Birthday Bash, Wrestling, Baseball, 1995 Devils

Hard Hits returns for a late night episode. Join host Derek Felix as he holds a sleepless Birthday bash for co-host Dan Wheeler. Featuring Justin JNF Felix, Robert Kraze Davis, Brian Sanborn, Madison Miller. 

Opening Monologue: Happy Birthday Dan! An ode to Wheelah. Flex style. Derek discusses how he met Dan and our crazy cast of characters in the AOL days. 

Segment I: Flex continues to tell the unique story of Dan, Justin, Robert, Nate, Colin, GQ, JPG, Brian and even Corey. Lots of wrestling references and AOL chatroom brigade memories that date back to 2002! Plus the old Raw vs Nitro wars. 

Segment II: Madison surprises us with a visit. Derek summarizes their meeting as friends. She wishes Dan a Happy Birthday and inspires the man of the hour to call in. Flex presents Wheeler with a surprise oldie tune and then Madison with a classic one as well.  

Segment III: Dan tells us about his birthday dinner. It sounds delightful. Plus convo shifts to music and if baseball can get through the 60 game season. Madison is optimistic. Plus we wonder about the other more contact sports. 

Final Segment: After Dan says goodnight, Robert Kraze Davis joins up late. We go over the celebration and discuss the baseball and Yankees. Plus take it into Overtime. 

Overtime! It becomes a ode to the 1995 Devils who officially marked 25 years since their first Cup. Robert and Derek talk about his early memories as a fan. Flex closes the show with some praise for Lou Lamoriello. Plus reflects back on 90
