Navy Yard Shooting, The Military, + Mental Illness

Tune in Monday, September 23, 2013, at 9PM EST/6PM PST as Stacey Brewer of H. Blu's Word speaks on the Navy Yard shooting and the military's treatment of mental illness. It has been reported that the shooter at the DC Navy Yard, Aaron Alexis, was possibly suffering from mental illness. Joining Stacey will be mental health expert, Dr. Donald Grant. Stacey will speak with Dr. Grant about mental health in general and how it relates to this latest mass shooting at the Navy Yard, as well as other mass shootings. An additional question they will address is, when it comes to some of these mass shootings, is it really gun control that is the issue or is the real elephant in the room...mental illness?

Also joining Stacey will be a retired senior Naval officer who will share his thoughts on what happened and how the Navy and overall military can prevent this from happening again.
