A Celebration of #GullahGeechee Nation Appreciation

Tune een fa yeddi Queen Quet crak e teet wid Kwame Sha de Co-Founder of de Gullah/Geechee Nation International Music & Movement Festival.  The theme for the 11th annual festival is "A Celebration of Self-Determination."  The festival is the culminating event for "Gullah/Geechee Nation Appreciation Week."   The week is now celebrated by every county, Oyotunji African Village, and numerous towns within the Gullah/Geechee Nation.   The festival will be an opportunity for people that are interesting in learning about the authentic Gullah/Geechee culture to learn from traditions keepers first hand.  It will also be the time of the "Gullah/Geechee Reunion." E gwine be a time!
