Exodus 12:1-14 the scripture verses of this text is a narration of God creating a path to earth for the Slain Lamb to enter the earth and to redeem man from the penalty of sin, ( Rev 13:8). This slain lamb was slain at the foundation for this very purpose. Thus, the Passover and the Feast of the Unleavened Bread covered in Exodus 12:1-28, is the type of Christ our Redeemer.

The lamb was to be without blemish and to test; it was to be kept for four day as our Lord’s public life was tested under the hostile eyes of the Pharisees and the Sadducees to prove his holiness. The lamb thus tested was to be slain. The blood is to be applied individually...

The Feast of the Unleavened Bread typified an “I am” statement, “I am the Bread of Life.
