Back in the 80’s, singer Bonnie Tyler said it best” I need a hero…I’m holding on for a hero ‘til the morning light”. The song goes on to mention her hero being a knight and that he has to be strong, and he, and he, and he.  But who says that a hero has to be male? What does a hero really look like? Since we’ve already quoted a female singing about men, it’s only fair we do the same with a male singer. James Brown in the 60’s put it this way, “This is a man’s world…but he would be nothing…without a woman or a girl”. In this episode we’re going to focus on the ladies; two women and a girl! With the growing popularity of “Super Heroes” in the movies these days, it’s only fitting that we highlight three very popular female heroes: “Selene (Underworld), Natalia Romanova/Black Widow (Shield/Avengers), and Hit Girl (Kick-Ass)"! Hanging out with us this week is our friend, the Adventure & Fantasy Guru himself, Mr. Tony King!
