On September 15 and 16, the American Geographical Society, Haskell Indian Nations University and The University of Kansas are hosting the 2011 World Human Geography Conference. Sponsored by the U.S. Army Research Office, the 2011 World Human Geography Conference will address thematic, research, and professional issues in human geography and allied social and natural sciences.

Today, we are speaking with Jerry Dobson, President of the American Geographical Society and Professor of Geography at the University of Kansas; Daniel Wildcat,
Professor of American Indian Studies, Haskell Indian Nations University; and Peter Herlihy, Associate Professor of Geography, Haskell Indian Nations University.
