Cobia, also called black kingfish, black salmon, ling, lemonfish, crabeaters and aruan tasek. No matter the name, they bring “high dollar” at Sushi restaurants. Novices sometimes mistaken them for a remora or brown reef shark. As we talk to our pro staff about their fishing holes we will get their opinions and secrets on how they fish for cobia. This week we will hear from Capt. Peter Santini in the Galapagos Islands, Capt. Clay Hensley who covers Miami to West Palm Beach, FL, Capt. John Houpt in the Florida Keys, Capt. Shawn Wallace down in Canavieiras, Brazil, Capt. Jason Coffrin in Quepos, Costa Rica and Capt. David Jones in Baja Sur, Mexico. There is excitement waiting for us, rum to drink, fish-tales to be told and major pranks to be had. Don't miss MJ, Roddy and Ozzie bringing laughter and some pointers your way!
