Bob, Scorpio, and I will again be exploring this idea of 'Liberty' in this follow-up to last weeks show. I will be playing the last of Deek's comments ( we did not get to them all last show ) to start some interesting converation.
After a week of commentary on the forum, it appears that we have opened a can-of-worms. Apparently, 'Liberty' has many definitions to different people. Has the principle of Liberty changed form that sought by our Founding Fathers? What is the purpose of Government as it relates to Liberty? We send our children off to War to protect and died for 'Our Liberties'. We are told that we are 'hated' by evil others because of our Liberty. That is the reason THEY want to destroy us..... and much to often it is the reason that we interject ourselves into foreign lands.... to protect others when their Liberties are threatened.
