Proposition 8 - Civil Rights For Gay Rights verses Christian Rights

Along with the voting of a historical election was the vote on Proposition 8 a legislation which overturned gay marriages in California. The vote has gotten many in the gay and heterosexual community upset at the Christian community. This on one hand is an issue of constitutional and equal rights and on the other hand spiritual and biblical understanding. The two have clashed. Even more the African American community who have fought for civil rights, many supported proposition 8.
