Why Do We Have to Go THRU Jesus to Get to the Father??

Foundational Scripture: John 14:6

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

God has tried to reach out to man to commune with Him for over 6,000 years starting with Adam. But man sinned. GOD and sin does not dwell together.

So over the years GOD has used Moses (Law) and the Prophets (GODs mouth and representative) to establish an everlasting relationship with him.  

But this did not work. Therefore, GOD provided the ultimate sacrifice (His only Son) and the Son performed the LOVE of GOD (because GOD is Love – 1 John 4:8)…. If you truly know GOD, then you truly know Love. If you truly know Love, then you truly know Jesus. Here lies the connection…..

To truly know GOD, you need to know Love. And that’s Jesus….

This is just one Fruit…

Did Jesus really mean only through him? No… Look at his words…

The WAY – The only way to the Father is thru the SON. This is Jesus himself.

TRUTH – The Spirit of Truth is the Holy Spirit – Will testify of Jesus Christ and his remembrance. 

LIFE: Only the Father on the Throne gives Life.

As you see, Jesus uses these three words The Way (Jesus), Truth (Holy Spirit) and Life (Father) to illustrate the Trinity (all 3 are one) as well. It’s not just him… It’s GOD himself.
