Deck The Halls, Jingle Bells, O Come All Ye Faithful, The Christmas Tree, and Santa Claus….all familiar songs, symbols and characters of Christianity and the holiday season.  As we anticipate the great birth of Jesus Christ, his amazing manger birth to a Virgin Mother and God The Father, it’s the time of year that brings excitement and joy to Christians AND non-Christians throughout the world.

On today’s show we’ll explore those familiar holiday songs, symbols and characters to determine their origins that in some cases date back to the days BEFORE the birth of Christ.  We’ll learn about the different customs and traditions from 8 different countries to see how Jesus is celebrated throughout the world.

And from my family to yours…I wish you holiday blessings regardless of your nationality, race, political ideology or faith.  Christmas is for EVERYBODY and this is a special Christmas edition of Focus on Empowerment from Boston to Beijing to Brazil!!
