And a woman who had suffered from a(issue) flow of blood for twelve years and had spent all her living upon physicians, and could not be healed by anyone,Came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His garment, and immediately her flow of blood ceased. And Jesus said, Who is it who touched Me? When all were denying it, Peter and those who were with him said, Master, the multitudes surround You and press You on every side! But Jesus said, Someone did touch Me; for I perceived that healing power has gone forth from Me. And when the woman saw that she had not escaped notice, she came up trembling, and, falling down before Him, she declared in the presence of all the people for what reason she had touched Him and how she had been instantly cured. And He said to her, Daughter, your faith (your confidence and trust in Me) has made you well! Go (enter) nto peace (untroubled, undisturbed well-being). We all have had or have issues in our lives, something emerging, flowing, discharging out of us from a painful or wounded place.Sometimes those issues become so ingrained in us until we become one with the issue and that issue becomes our identity. The issue often tells us, "it's you", this is all you will ever be, there's no cure, no help for you. We begin to lose hope in a lost identity while staying hidden hemorrhaging, privately bleeding while publicly blending. This woman had an issue, she bled for 12 years. How long have you been bleeding? She had spent all she had on doctors but no one could heal her.I can only imagine that after twelve years of constant blood loss that this woman must have suffered from anemia and it probably took most of the physical strength she had to even walk, but she did. She found herself walking with a crowd of people and mustering up the strength to press her way not only through the crowd but her condition to get to Jesus. Jesus can fix the unfixable if you just stretch out your faith and touch the hem of Him.
