Jacqui Irwin was recently honored by Melinda and Girls in Power at the GIP Give The Gift Gala on April 12th.  

Jacqui recently served as the mayor of Thousand Oaks. Mayor Irwin was first elected to the Thousand Oaks City Council in 2004 and was reelected in 2008 when she also served as the mayor. Jacqui’s service to the city began when she was appointed to the Planning Commission in 2003. As a councilmember she has actively served on several City Council Committees including the Crime Prevention Task Force; Lynn/Olsen Road Traffic and Pedestrian Committee; Conejo Coalition for Youth and Families; Intergovernmental Relations Committee; Finance and Audit Committee; Capital Facilities Committee; California League of Cities, Public Safety Committee; and Ventura Council of Governments.
