Guest: Josh Wege, Combat Veteran, Member of www.woundedwarrioramputeesoftballteam.org What up, Get Up Nation? My name is Ben Biddick, the Host of the Get Up Nation Podcast and Co-Author of Get Up: The Art of Perseverance with Adam Greenberg, Major League Baseball Player and CEO of www.lurongliving.com. Welcome to Episode 16 of the podcast. I had the honor and privilege of speaking with Josh Wege. He’s a Marine Corps Veteran of the Global War on Terror and is currently a member of the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team. Josh lost both of his legs in Afghanistan to an improved explosive device that detonated under his vehicle. He refused to let the loss of his legs stop him from serving others and currently empowers young amputees to be confident and unashamed of who they are. I caught up with him just before he left on a snowboarding trip and had the honor of hearing his story which I share with all of you here. It’s worth the listen especially if you need to hear about good people doing amazing things for others. www.woundedwarrioramputeesoftballteam.org www.getupnationpodcast.com Music: Arc by Josh Leake and Awaken by Ethan Rank You Tube: bit.ly/2CzePma Facebook: @getupnationpodcast itunes: apple.co/2xZPeih Instagram: bit.ly/2yB8mam Twitter: @getupnationpod Soundcloud: bit.ly/2gNLtXk Stitcher: bit.ly/2yzoklu Overcast: bit.ly/2zry0LS Spreaker: bit.ly/2l4pmR3 Acast: bit.ly/2z1P6AM Buy the book: amzn.to/2rt2lWN --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/get-up-nation-podcast/support
