The Return of The Word

There is a trend of neglect and negligence existing in the church today. A husband who neglects to love his wife might say that he is doing everything for his wife, but he has forgotten to care for HER. Instead he is hoping that the projects he is working on will take care of her once he has finished them. Yet he failed to see that it is not the responsibility of the project to care for his wife; it is HIS. In the same way the church has suffered the same neglect, and now it is hurting. What will we look like when Christ returns for us? Will he be glad to see us because we have maintained a godly standard of conduct, or will we be glad to see him because there will finally be someonne on the scene who can straighten things out?
