Most environmentalists and people concerned with environmental issues simply want healthier lives, to leave the world better than they found it, and to live without the constant nagging fear that the planet will turn into a dust bowl or ice sheet. However, most environmentalists and concerned citizens have accepted the majority view that increased legislation, consolidated government, and coerced austerity are the answers to our environmental concerns. The Anarcho-Environmentalist submits the following: that most, if not all, environmental concerns are the result of trespasses on private property or failure to promote/preserve/defend private property, that governments and corporate welfare recipients are the greatest polluters, and that coercive state solutions--in the form of legislation, regulation, bureaucracy, agency, policies, central planning, power consolidation, property seizure, collective ownership, etc.--are ineffective, immoral and detrimental to the environment, endangered species, air quality, water quality, water supply, forests, food supply, food quality, soil quality and all life on earth.
