KXRW "Your Community Connection" presents... "Gena's Groove Theory" August 16, 2012. @10:00 pm (pst). I have had a beautiful opportunity to advance with my volunteer street outreach and learned studied skills, along with my life experience battling and winning the fight with mental iilness and homelessness. This opportunity has allowed me to work hand in hand with homeless mentally ill, disabled and all persons, who for whatever the reason are having difficulties with stabilizing life. For nearly 10 years I have dedicated my life to ensuring, encouraging, and finding all the resources that are currently available to assist them with problems they face living on the streets. I'm a Long Beach City College student, with a GPA of 3.00. Awaiting Certificate, and my A.A Degree. As a survivor of mental illness, homelessness and it's  stigmas that are associated, but not warranted. I have been working hard on building my new station via internet on blogtalkradio.com!  I will be bringing the community together through unity & communication! "Gena's Groove Theory"  Same show...
