GSB's Movies for August, The Croods, Spring Breakers

This summer is looking pretty dry in the theaters.  August seems even worse for movie goers than July.  The only films that seemed worth mentioning were RED 2 and Kick-Ass 2, only because we know kind of what to expect.  But I'm hoping the interesting plot of 2 GUNS will add to the casting of Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg in the film.  Then again, there is a buzz about Neill Blomkamp's new film - ELYSIUM. It could be the Sci-Fi hit of the summer.  Blomkamp was the writer/director of District 9.  

I also had two callers - fellow blogger and podcaster St. Clinton, and my co-host of my other podcast - Illumeenous (that's right, two ee's).  Together we talked about the films coming out this weekend, and how DC wanted to axe our man John Stewart of the Green Lantern Corp.  Hope you enjoy.
