Award Show Snobbery, Nolan Goes Interstellar

In my previous episode about finding a Mentor, I didn't get to cover much news, so today I make up for it.  Here are some of the highlights: Nolan to direct Sci-Fi story INTERSTELLAR, which was Spielberg's project.  FX is launching a show called THE STRAIN by Guillermo Del Toro.  Y: THE LAST MAN finds a director.

Also I grip a little about the Oscars and other award shows, and how they snub many of my Sci-Fi / Fantasy films and TV shows.
