Building the Perfect Intentional Community

There is no doubt in my mind that my desire to shape a community model based on resilience, sustainability, love, and emotional, spiritual, and physical preparedness, has been shaped by my failure - much of that failure my fault - to inspire and create that type of model here where we currently are. For that, I am both sad and grateful; sad that most of our community friends and neighbors won't be joining us on this journey into what we see as the next evolutionary step in community, and that we'll apparently have to leave to bring that vision to life (whether we can or not remains to be seen), and grateful that we've had the experiences where we currently are that have helped us shape and clarify that vision.

What seems obvious to us is that the world is changing and we have to change with it. As we frequently say on this website: It's not if you'll participate in the coming changes that have already begun, but how...
