It is with great honor that I bring you this week's interview with Chris Delay and Mark Morris - two of the founding members of Introversion Software. Pioneers of the indie scene, Delay developed the studios' first game Uplink (considered one of the greatest hacking games of all time). With a humble beginning, the studio could only physically ship copies of their game (there was no digital distribution model at the time). Fortunately, the studio grew thanks to the success of Uplink and its other games such as Darwinia, Multiwinia, DEFCON, and most recently, Prison Architect.
During the course of our interview, we discuss the team's beginnings, the trials they faced being indie before 'indie gaming,' and the themes, mechanics, and goal of Prison Architect. This is one episode you won't want to miss!
