Music is a very key component in a lot of things. it can help us get out of bed each day. It can help us get motivated to work out (our bodies at the gym or our minds whilst studying). And, yes, it can even help defeat the final boss in our latest JRPG game we've been playing for the last 110+ hours.

Whether its that latest video game that just hit the shelves, or our latest delve into the dark dungeon of our favorite tabletop RPG, music is found -- and is often a key component -- in nearly all of gaming.

Join the GCR crew as we delve into what role music plays in gaming and why sometimes the music in a game can be just as popular, or even more popular, than the game itself. We'll also discuss music inspired by games (including everything from MC Chris to Starbomb).

As an exciting addition to this session, Scott will play a portion of his interview with Draiochta Labs. Draiochta Labs is a local gaming company right out of Fond du Lac, WI! They've just finished their flagship tabletop RPG game, Draiochta, and Scott will be getting the scoop on the company, the people behind it, and of course, the game itself.
