Many people say, "A true star is born", and the story is no different for Hewitt Haynes also known as Young Gwop, who has overcome many of life's challenges to find his place in the ever blooming industry of music & entertainment. Born May 29, 1979 in Hartford, CT. Young Gwop was no different than any other child that was growing up in the urban environment. Exposure to real life experiences in the streets resulted in a fast growing youth, and allowed him to become calculated in his actions. Though Haynes was exposed to the streets at an early age, he also took part in some prominent opportunities. He received music experience from a facility called "Artist Collective", has done modeling and acting for an agency entitled "Star", been seen on billboards from JC Penney to Bob's, and been featured in a movie called "Running On Empty". But these accomplishments weren't enough to keep him from his mischievous ways which were hindering him from reaching his potential. Being able to break barriers and make "your" favorite type of music is what this budding artist holds close to heart. Young Gwop is looking forward to the release of a hot new single that will grasp the attention of the masses as well as shed light on him as a business man.
