Phillip Dana is a US Navy veteran. He attended the United States Naval Academy. He is an expert senior talent acquistion officer. He will share his experiences and wisdom with us. We will begin with his military service, then move to his transtion experience. Recently, Phillip has led the HR team for a major, global corporation. Let's find out what he knows about getting hired too.

Phillip's last company merged with another in that industry. The larger company's VP of HR made Phillip's position redundant. So we can also hear how he is approaching his new job search and learn from his personal experience.

I have met with Phillip Dana. His family is legendary in Southern California. Phillip's ancestral relative is Richard Henry Dana, the author who sailed past Dana Point, CA in the mid 1880s, and for which that place is named. Richard Dana wrote about it in his best selling book that told the tale of that journey, "Two Years Before the Mast." .

Phillip Dana is an extraordinary man. He is also all Navy. When we met, the Army v. Navy football game was about to air. He was pumped. His intelligence and passion is evident from the first minute of being introduced. He is friendly, professional, and has a sincere concern for his fellow US veterans.
