Samson was predestined to become a deliverer for his people from the hands of their oppressors the Philistines.  He was set apart as a Nazarite and dedicated unto God for His service.  Yet he allowed himself to yield to the temptation of his flesh that would become his pitfall and hold him in captivity until his death.  Like Samson, many people don’t consider the consequences of giving into the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, thereby destroying themselves and the very people they are sworn to protect and love. 

Scripture: Read Judges Chapter 13 :1-5 and Chapter 14
