[Pre-recorded show. Do not call in tonight] What do Christians do when they share their faith? Well, if they do it properly and according to Scripture, what they're actually doing is offering terms of peace between an offended God and rebellious man. That's exactly how St. Paul explained it. When Paul spoke to Timothy (II Timothy 4:5) and told him to "Do the work of an evangelist", he commissioned him to the ministry of peace-maker between warring sides. This distinctive as it relates to evangelism is not widely understood by American Christians because today's gospel "pitch" de-emphasizes the pre-existing cause of conflict. Tonight we'll discuss how Scripture explains this relationship. Your host, Rev. Rick Anderson, on "Jewish Roots", each Thursday at 9:30 pm, EDT.
