It’s rare an artist possesses your favorite rapper’s favorite

rapper skill set, an "I’m not a rapper, I’m a hustler" respect,

and a "you can have whatever you like" female appeal. The

28 year old CBZ manages to be just that. The former athlete

who was voted best looking by his high school class seemed

to be condemned to a decade of arrests, struggles, street life

and drug abuse. Through the turmoil, tragedy and self-destruction

one constant ingredient remained. That relentless

driving force was music. A 7-year old CBZ would flawlessly

recite Dr Dre's "The Chronic" and Snoop Dogg's "Doggystyle"

albums word for word as if the ability was pre-programmed

at birth. His gifted flow was mastered in his late teens with

next level lyricism, outrageous storytelling, and concussion

causing punch lines packed with laser sharp wit. A complex

mixture of styles is what defines a rapper who is described

as "what would happen if Eminem and Lil Wayne had a baby

and made Ludacris the Godfather".
