On the latest episode of Conversations, we sit down with British filmmaker, Amma Assante. a screenwriter, film director, and former actress, whose debuted with the 2004 film, A Way of Life. She followed that film up with the period-drama, Belle in 2013. Assante’s latest film, A United Kingdom tells the story of the true-life romance between Sir Seretse Khama and his wife Ruth Williams Khama.
