The 16th Annual Black Reel Awards

Join us as we honor and celebrate Black Film excellence with the 16th Annual Black Reel Awards. Since 2000, the Black Reel Awards have annually honored African-American Film Achievement in three disciplines: feature, television, and independent film. Paced by both Straight Outta Compton and Creed with nine nominations apiece and Bessie's six nominations on the television side, this year's contests for top Black Reel Awards honors should be highly contested. We'll unveil this year's winners and find out which film will headline the "Class of '16" beginning at 8pm.
