Jack Lee was born October 1943 and raised in Harlem, New York. He is the proud Committee Chairperson of the Harlem Arts Alliance Visionaries. Jack has been the Artist of the Month and has received the prestigious “Artist Development Award”. His journey of photographic images has historic and artistic photographic significance, including A Jazz Legacy, La Marquetta Marketplace in Harlem, demonstrations and events, both for posterity and nostalgia. Jack has created multiple images from his archive of over 25,000 frames. He has taught color photography in his studio lab to adults and children. His photographs have been published in Down Beat Magazine, Essence Magazine, and the First National Citi Bank’s initial ATM machines billboard promotions, to name a select few. His stills are alive and have become first nature of his expressionism. He has exhibited in the hall of fame of frames at: C.L.O.T.H.;The Black Dimensions in Art Wellington Farm Gallery; The Hamilton Landmark Galleries; Strivers Art Circuit; The J.P. Kennedy Center; The Symphony Space Theater/Café; The Health Gallery; and the AC-BAW Center for the Arts. His life dream is to have a complete rebirth of his archival images and to continue to create and make a contribution to ART, the community and the universe.
