The western swing has concluded, and it ended in dramatic fashion. Patti Rodisch and Dustin Parks will try to wrap their heads around the battle between Kevin Harvick and Kurt Busch from Sunday's Auto Club 400, a battle that ended with Brad Keselowski stealing the thunder and the victory. Quite a way for those on the Pacific coast to end their three-week run of action.
But before the green ever waved, once again one driver was out of the seat. Brian Vickers is again sidelined with blood clots, this time discovered coming back from Las Vegas. He is now out of the No. 55 car for at least three months, meaning he possibly won't be back racing until late-June at the earliest. With all these health issues over the last five years, is it time for Vickers to consider stepping out due to concerns for his long-term health, or will it be the doctors that say he can't go any longer?
Finally, a look ahead to the "Paperclip" of Martinsville, where NASCAR shows their own version of rush hour. Tune in!!
