Our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy have changed. We think you'll like them better this way.
If you are reading this note, I know you will agree that at some point in your life you have considered whether an action is either fair or just, all along thinking that the two terms are the same. After reviewing many public policy documents, I too began to examine more carefully issues of fairness and justice. The conclusion- these two terms although often used interchangeably are really not the same.
Why am I telling you this? Well, today more than ever questions of unethical practices are causing many to doubt laws and rulings in our legal system, resulting in more confusion between the two terms.
Join me on 9/5/2016 @ 6:30 pm, when I will share the story of a prisoner who spent 30 years incarcerated for a crime he did not commit. And you decide if the actions perpetrated against the accused were unjust or unfair and why?
