The F-35 program to produce a joint strike fighter is estimated to cost $382,billio - $112 million per plane, plust fuel ,parts maintenance, training , etc.  Tht would pay for almost 4 million police or teachers.  Alan Charney joins us in Segment 1 to expalin why the plane has never seen combat, probably never will and is so expensive.
