CHANCE

   I have not done a show in months. It would add effect if I stated that it was because of a streak of bad luck but it wasn't. Quite simply, I got lazy and discouraged in terms of the podcast, because it is just me talking to myself. However, I enjoy doing it, and realize that in order to find people to teach and learn from, I have to keep at and do far more.

  This show here is about what we commonly call luck. I am doing it because over the last few weeks I have come across what would typically interpreted as pretty bad luck. I came back from vacation, visiting my family in Colorado, and what 'initially seems' like some horrible luck ensued. But, despite my instinctive reactions, I don't dread on it, or think I'm unlucky.

  Luck is no more than another word for chance. Everything besides the human conscoius ability to choose is chance. The 'good' or 'bad' part of luck/chance is relative. It is purely relative to our perspective and not objective reality. I want to talk about luck, how we perceive it, and what we very well may miss in the process.
