Police killed more than 100 unarmed blacks in 2015

• 1 in 3 were identified as unarmed and this could be higher due to unreporting 
• Unarmed blacks were killed at 5xs the rate of unarmed whites 
• Thus far in 2016 187 have been killed 
• 69% were nonviolent/unarmed 31% allegedly armed and violent 
• 28% of police killings between 2013 and June 2016 were committed by police depts of 100 of the largest cities (these stats and the cities can be found at mappingpoliceviolence.org)
