My wife wants to get a rotweiler and i agree with the breed but i want to hear your opinions on where to get started training the pup and if another breed is recommended.  I want to train him myself and would like a nice guard dog for the wife but also a nice companion out in the field for myself, nice hiking, camping buddy ya know.
