This will be part 2 of this amazing mans story!!!

David Wayne - David is a survivor, advocate and consultant working on a volunteer basis since 2010, focusing primarily on policy, and also serving victims and survivors directly through case management, referrals and peer counseling, often long distance to other areas of the US and Canada. Although a lifelong resident of Pennsylvania, his work within the state has been limited due to concerns on privacy and avoiding entanglements with former perpetrators.

In addition to serving with advocacy as a member of the National Survivor Network and Girls Educational & Mentoring Services (GEMS), David also advocates for girls and women who have been incarcerated as a result of sexual exploitation and trafficking, through formerly incarcerated survivor Sara Kruzan’s organization, I am SJK. David recently graduated from Rebecca Bender Ministry's Virtual Mentoring Program, a unique experience powered by survivors for survivors, and joined the Board of Directors of Project Soteria, another survivor-led organization, which works to prevent and eradicate exploitation while providing advocacy for juvenile justice. He also recently joined Cancer InCytes Magazine as an Editorial Adviser for the Culture, Law and Policy Department. David’s open letter to Amnesty International USA was featured and published among other survivor letters in opposition to Amnesty’s proposed policy that decriminalizes commercial sex business operators and sex buyers. David’s work also includes assistance with research and investigations, and he is the lead organizer of an effort to develop a regional task force against human trafficking in Northeast Pennsylvania.
