Jacquelyn Ford is a mother of three grown children and one grandson. She is the Author of a book called How to Escape from Adultery & Fornication as well as the Founder of S.W.I.M. Outreach which stands for Single Women in Ministry, Inc. S.W.I.M .is a 501(c)3 Organization & stands on the principle “I can Feed you a fish for a day, but can teach you how to swim for a lifetime.” Jacquelyn’s life has been a roller coaster after being raised as an abused child mentally and as the black sheep. After being called the misfit child and living in a dysfunctional home not to mention a few others, she was introduced to prostitution at an early age. She always felt she was a misfit but knew in her heart that God had a plan for her. She would hide in a closet and write letters to God in code as if she knew he understood her since she knew that had made her. Jacquelyn’s mission and goal is to continue to minister to women who think they were a misfits or they ended up on the backside of the desert. The race is not given to the swift nor the strong one but to the one that endured to the end.

She is an advocate for the students where she is now employed as a Substitute Teacher/Mentor. In addition she is involved with Community Alliance for the Homeless, Neighborhood Christian Center, United Way, Shelby County Correction Center, etc.

Jacquelyn completed her education with a dual major in Education & Psychology from S.W. Community College  went on to Lemoyne Owen College to pursue more training in Education. She also attended Anointed Bible College & received an Associate Degree in Theology. She has been endorsed by one of the Major for her outstanding services with the youth at Juvenile Court. She is also involved in her church choir and serve on the ministerial staff.
