A Beautiful You - Danielle Reid

Danielle Reid is more than a student, business owner, friend, and mother; she is a domestic violence survivor and activist. After dealing with a cycle of physical, emotional, and mentally abusive relationships for more than 10 years, Danielle has learned to overcome any obstacle that comes her way. Her main goal is for everyone to know that anyone can become a victim of domestic violence, even men, and that one of the main causes of women who become involved in abusive situations is the result of low self-esteem as teens. With her organization, Limitless Beauties, she instills in young ladies the skills needed for them to rise out of current situations and live productive and successful lives. She also speaks out against women who make false accusations of abuse and how it hurts the system. Danielle is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity, NAACP, and many other organizations. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, where she achieved a 4.0 GPA, while working and being the mother of two boys. Danielle is in the process of finishing her first book “Beauty Overshadowed” which will be released in early 2015.
