About Gregory Berge:

THEY SAY THAT GREAT ATHLETES NEVER GIVE UP.  BUT FOR GREGORY, GIVING UP HIS MEDICAL CAREER MARKED THE BEGINNING OF HIS ATHLETIC DREAMS.

Born in 1978, Gregory grew up dreaming to become a professional sportsman.  21 years later, he stopped growing and also stopped dreaming because he’s having his 3rd ACL surgery in 4 years.

That’s how he decides to devote his energy to school and enroll in a 6 year osteopathic course in Marseille, France. Ten years later in Japan, he becomes the first foreign osteopath ever registered in Japan.

Between 2011 and 2013, he works as an English teacher, as a dish-washer in a restaurant, as a cook in a Japanese restaurant, in a Mc Donald’s, as a janitor, a translator and finally discovers interpreting.

Gregory’s behaviour, energy and stress level are at the exact opposite of what he experienced as an osteopath. He writes his first book “How to find your soul job”.

On September 4th of 2013, the International Olympic Committee announces Tokyo as the host of the 2020 Olympic games.  Gregory sees this as the sign that it's time to give one more chance to his childhood dream.

This is how he starts triathlon with the 2020 Olympic games as his only goal. In 2014, he finishes 25th at the Nationals. In 2015, he is selected in the age-group French National team.

The dream is alive.
