The Trayvon Martin Effect III

From the Executive desk of, 'The Elijah Isaiah Talk Show". GOD, please forgive me because my flesh can't take this no more.

Tomorrow at 11:00 AM, We are going to broadcast "The Travyon Martin Effect Series". And I'm going to let it loose like my mentor, Sir Petey Green. For far to long, I've tried to be what other people told me I should become. Re: more quite, subdued, less finger pointing, etc, etc. And like a dummy, I humbled myself to THEIR wishes. It amazes to me during this process, I did not remember my up bring.

My Grandfather, Oscar Hall always told me, "Boy (the ONLY person I ever let me call that name), if you don't STAND UP for something, you will FALL to/for ANYTHING". He told me his struggles and REGRETS in life and advised me to be ALL that I could be!

During my hour long walk this morning, the confirmation hit me like a thunder bolt. Elijah take off the mask, be yourself, be respectful, but speak the Truth as YOU see it.

 And with the HEAT with this Martin decision, I believe that the timing is RIGHT! I've seen some people in our own community acting like NUTS! It reminds me of the ole saying "The House N".

So today, I'm going to let it ALL HANG OUT and NO ONE will be immune. And I so glad Blogtalk has a rebroadcast because it may be one of my CLASSIC pieces to date.
