The FOUR Motions

Decisions, decisions, decisions: will I go right or left? Do I want the salmon or the lasagna? Do I tell her “yes” or “no?” And what about the decisions I didn’t make: where would I be if I had just taken on that opportunity? Life is filled with these seemingly unimportant questions. Yet, my answers – or lack thereof – call the results that I will at some point see manifested.
 
Sometimes we are so afraid of making the wrong choice that we don’t make any decision at all: we remain on the fence, which is still a decision! Yet, who is that “I” that is in fear of an outcome? Who is that “I” that focuses and thus can’t help attracting the “wrong” side of the equation? Who is that “I” that thinks it decides?

Our meetings last one-hour & are structured as follows:

1.       The first 5 minutes: Welcoming, Checking In. taking a moment of silence.

2.       The next 10 minutes:  Ritual readings.

3.       The last 45 minutes: Introduction of a topic. Group Sharing & Inquiry, Summary / Ritual Closing.
