This weekend on Monster Channel and Eerie Late Night Horror Channel on Roku, we have had a Bela Lugosi Monogram marathon, in honor of the release of the book "Bela Lugosi; A Monogramthology." The book is a very unique take on the nine "poverty row" films that Bela made for Monogram Pictures, done by a handful of very talented writers, who expound or continue the stories in these nine movies, with a great 1940's horror style. The films themselves are a part of horror history and besides the budgetary restraints, all left an indelible impression on horror fans and Lugosi fans in particular. Tonight we welcome horror hosts Drac and Countess Carita of "Transylvania Tonight" who wrote the forward and afterword of this one-of-a-kind anthology, which is available at Amazon.com. It's a must read!
