Councilman Barron is the Freedom Party candidate for Governor of the State of New York running against Attorney General Andrew Cuomo in the upcoming Gubernatorial election. The Freedom Party just finished collecting over 43,000 signatures allowing for it's formal creation and for Mr. Barron to run for Governor on the party's ticket Andrew Cuomo does not have any African Americans on his ticket, and it's high time that we had a statewide African American candidate.
