This Saturday on the Empowerment Hour Online University we continue our celebration of 3 years on the air by welcoming to the program Dr. Lonnie J. Edwards, Sr. Dr. Edwards is currently the Superintendent of the Jackson Public Schools, Jackson, MS. Dr. Edwards is author of the book A Teacher's Touch-Reaching Beyond Boundaries, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Edwards-Miller Foundation for Physical Disabilities. Dr. Edwards has received numerous honors such as Man of the Year for 2010 & Humanitarian Service Medal for Distinguished and Meritorious Service to the Citizens of the State of Mississippi during Hurricane Gustav.
