The second part to the Exploitation of the black person in media is going to focus on the black male since last night we discussed the black female.

The media especially has had a hand in depicting the black male as a “thug” or “criminal” which is why its so easy to kill the black man and blame it on the fear of the black male. But in the last few years they have also tried to feminize the black male and glorify the gay black men of society. This idea or sterotype has transpired across the country and has left the world, especially young black boys, in a state of confusion not knowing where to go or right from wrong.

Brothers, tonight lets heal and discuss some solutions to promoting more positive images for our young men to be inspired by. Lets help guide them on where to go for answers and what it means to be a real King,
