MLB Umpire Angel Hernandez! He filled a lawsuit on Tue against the MLB for discrimination. Now normally, I don't have a problem with discrimination lawsuits as MOST do have merit but this one - this one, I'm shaking my head OH HELL NO on!! While no one can dispute one part of his claim that there aren't enough minorities in baseball (and umpiring crew - 10 out 100 are minorities), but his other part of the claim -- that he's been discriminated against for NOT working the World Series. His last WS Ump job was back in 2005. Since then he claims that even though he's one of baseball's longest employed umps, "claims" that he's rated highly in evaluations, he's been passed over. He was also made a temporary crew chief in 2005 and 2012 but his four applications to become a permanent crew chief were denied. Now he says it's discrimination. Ummm NO... that's not why you've been "passed over"! You've been passed over because --- well --- in laymen's  terms -- YOU SUCK!! Ever since the replay system was put in, you're one of the HIGHEST overturned umps, you miss obvious ball/strike calls, This is the same idiot that called Adam Rosales' obvious home run against the Indians a few years back a double...before and after review! You're getting passed over because of your complete lack of ability to do your job properly! The World Series is supposed to represent the best of the best.... the best 2 teams, the best umpiring crew -- for your name to even be mentioned in same breath as World Series umpires makes me want to blow my brains out! How do you even have a job? Oh that's right -- when ya fail at your job and the boss wants to fire ya -- pull out the race card!
