Polyamorous is pertaining to participation in multiple and simultaneous loving or sexual relationships.  Folk who enter into polyamorous relationships understand that their lovers will have lovers of their own.  The individuals who live in polyamorous relationships often feel that it is a very “natural” way to live or that it has the potential to build loving communities.  On the other hand, it is realistic to believe that multiple people can enter into a relationship.  Heck, sometimes it is hard to live with and love one person at a time.
